Fall GIVEAWAY and Navy Seal Foundation Support

Update: Trina, founder of Primal Life Organics, is “Guest Expert” for my Skintervention Guide! click here.

I’m THRILLED and honored to introduce a NEW Primal Life Organics product in support of the Navy Seal Foundation! Thanks, Primal Life Organics!Be sure to read through for a discount code, a giveaway opportunity, and a chance to support the Navy Seal Foundation.

Giveaway includes Primal Life Organics’ Fallen Serum, Banished Serum (AMAZING anti-acne product infused with cayenne pepper and menthol), Dirty Mouth Primal Toothpowder, and Primal Pit Stick!

I’m absolutely in love with fall. Everything about it is perfection to me – football season, fleece weather, crisp air, apple picking, ornamental gourds, and The Great Pumpkin.

“The fury of a woman scorned…nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of tricks or treats.”

But fall also means the beginning of drier air (more dry air? Air dry?) and the ramping up of my diligent body care routine. I love being educated on new ways to heal, fortify, and protect my skin without a litany of junky ingredients and unnecessary chemicals (more about this on my body care page), and I know there’s an amazing world of nourishing oils out there that help do the job.

I’m fortunate to know Trina of Primal Life Organics, who is the Skin Care equivalent of the Apple Genius Bar; a veritable Vivaldi of skin-nourishing compositions. Yes, Trina is a prodigy when it comes to feeding the skin. Her goodies are liquid gold. They’re an investment in my epidermal future. Like my cavehusband the season 2 VHS box-set of the Vampire Diaries, Trina’s products make my life complete.

Better yet, Trina gives back. Her new line, Primal Seasons, will offer a unique product that benefits a NEW charitable Foundation every season! This season, a portion of proceeds support the Navy Seal Foundation.

Fallen, the Primal Life Organics Fall 2012 Primal Seasons offering, is stacked with Trina’s hand-picked Skin Food (read more here). As the skin’s needs change with the seasons, so do the nourishing, skin-loving, reparative oils Trina uses.

Sales of Fallen benefit the Navy Seal Foundation, which supports both military personnel and their families. As a military wife, I owe a debt of gratitude to everyone who shows this kind of support to our troops and their loved ones. This type of generosity truly renders me speechless. THANK YOU, Trina.

Looks great- I have a question though. In the description of the tooth powder, it says the baking soda is ‘aluminum free.’. But then it says that the added clays contain aluminum. Why is the aluminum in baking soda bad, but it’s ok in the clays?
    Thanks!

    • Liz (@CaveGirlEats) October 12, 2012 at 1:06 pm #

I don’t think the ingredients list is necessarily an editorial on where and when aluminum is “bad…” I think it’s just an explicit list of the exact ingredients she uses! I believe she uses baking soda that is labeled “aluminum free.” My thoughts anyway!
