    Hi Liz,

I’m wondering if you know of a good ND or other paleo oriented practitioner in the ny metro area. I’ve looked at the Primal Docs & Paleo Physicians sites but I am at a bit of a loss regarding who to go with. I thought if you knew any of the practitioners and could recommend one that would be helpful. I live in Rockland County, NY but would be willing to drive down into NJ or NYC. I have a host of autoimmune issues, food sensitivities, & straight up gut problems and my progress has just kind of stalled out recently.

    Thanks for your time,
    Jenifer

I’ve never spoken to him personally, but Dr. Steven Horvitz is near me and he seems to have the same ideals as us “real foodies!” Check out his “wellness network” and you’ll see what I mean. Good luck Jenifer!

    Hi Liz,
Im your #1 fan, I listen to all your podcasts and follow your website. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto hypothyroidism 1.5 years ago, and have been gluten/sugar free since. 6 weeks after my diagnoses and going gluten/sugar free my Hashi antibodies were not detectable and my TSH went from 8 to 1.5. However I still have symptoms of fatigue and constipation, I live near your HOMETOWN OF KC and was wondering if you know if a good practitioner that could order me Cyrex labs such as array 2 of leaky gut and array 4 of cross-reactive foods, I really really really think dairy is likely going to have to go but want to see if in black and white. I can’t stress how much I love you and thank you for all you do for to help change the health world one person at a time.

    Sarah :)

Hi Sarah! Unfortunately I’m not familiar with the professional “terrain” in KC right now! Have you checked PrimalDocs.com and the Paleo Physicians Network? If you can find a Chiro or an ND on one of those sites that’s near you, they may be able to refer you out too!

You will figure it out! In the meantime, follow your instincts on pulling out the dairy. YOU KNOW BEST! Sometimes testing is inaccurate, so as much as we want to “see” it, often instinct is even MORE accurate.
